Lots of things might be going on, but I was alone with nature and infinity. Always the earth is brown, and the far-off mountains roll away in the distance. Always the cows stand on hillsides and eat grass. Trees grow now as they used to, and the winter air blowing on one’s cheek always feels cold. So I walked on thinking about life. Thinking about what was right and what was wrong. Nothing seemed wrong but unkindness, and nothing right but friendship and love. - Eyvind Earle, Horizon Bound on a Bicycle (via jessblanksketchbook)
